A mirror made to measure can transform a room — widening a narrow hallway, bouncing light into a dark stairwell or anchoring a console. Getting it right comes down to four decisions.
1. Size to what it relates to
- Over a console or sideboard: slightly narrower than the furniture beneath it.
- Over a basin or vanity: aligned to the width of the vanity or the taps.
- Full-length or leaning: sized to the ceiling height and the space in front of it.
- Feature walls: sized to the wall, with even margins all round.
2. Choose the frame to suit the room
Ornate gilded frames bring warmth and drama to formal majlis and dining rooms; slim metal or painted profiles suit contemporary apartments and hotel rooms. Matching the frame to existing finishes — door hardware, lighting, joinery — ties the room together.
3. Specify the glass for the space
Bathrooms, gyms and spas need mirror glass and backing suited to humidity. High-traffic areas in hotels and retail benefit from safety backing that holds glass together if it breaks.
4. Plan the hanging
A large framed mirror is heavy. It needs a hanging system rated for its weight and suitable for the wall — concrete, block or drywall each behave differently. Our installation team fixes mirrors securely and level, including oversized and statement pieces.
For hotels and residential projects, mirrors can be produced to a repeatable specification so every room matches.
